  Arieh Lieb changed his name to Hurwitz in order to escape service in the czar's army. R' Aryeh Leib married Sarah Elka Heilprin, he died in Berezin, (?)Belarus, Kaf Beit Adar Sheni (March 26,1897). They had two daughters Rahel died in Bialystok, February 25, 1920. She was married to R' Itzhak Eliyahu Ginzburg (R'ABD Bialystok) died April 2, 1922.
