168 | Hyde, Sheila J. (Lurie) Age 73, recently of Richfield, MN passed away peacefully November 19th, 2017 with her beloved son, Ross, by her side. Preceded in death by parents Nancy and Irving Lurie, step-father Abraham Schmidt and son, Ivan Hyde. She is survived by son, Ross Hyde (m. Tara Boedeker) of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Beverly and Ida Hyde; brothers, Arthur (m. Sandra) Lurie and Steven (m. Evelyn) Lurie and many other nieces, nephews cousins and close friends. Sheila was born and raised in Chicago, IL. In 1978, she started a new life with her two young sons in New Prague, MN, where she lived for nearly forty years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a dedicated and loyal friend to many. She was active in recovery networks and inspired and supported many others in their recovery journeys. Sheila will be especially remembered for her joyful, youthful spirit, and her deep love and acceptance of others from many walks of life. Memorial service will be held Wednesday 11/29/17, 12:30pm at Unity Minneapolis, 4000 Golden Valley Road, Mpls., MN 55422. Sheila's remains will be laid to rest along with her son Ivan on Dec. 1st 11am at Westlawn Cemetery & Mausoleum in Norridge, IL.
